hey!! no, i'm not dad, i've just been MIA for a month or so...anyway, my birthday is on sunday and I am going to be at Charlie O's at 8pm on saturday night to play pool and get shitty...if you feel like you know me well enough to stop by and have a brew and say happy birthday, then I'd love to see you.

i hate going to my classes so much. they are really awful. my edc 312 class sucks because dr.purnell has answered his cell phone in class and had a conversation on it at least 3 times, gives meaningless group work, and doesn't give notes. he talks alot, but nothing of value. my gender and culture teacher sucks too because all we do is read and go over what we've read. not even realy in discussion manner. and she is totaly unchallenging. we have a test on friday and she daid there was a lot of material on it, so it was going to be open book. AND THEN SHE GAVE US THE QUESTIONS. how fucking stupid is she? basically, she's telling me that it's okay that i haven't been to class in the last two weeks. i am so sick of being unchallenged. and i hate the people in my classes. when i go (which at this point is like once a week) everyone gives me dirty looks because i am that girl that never goes and when she does looks really pissed off and bored...because i am. and i hate them all. it's not my fault that they are too stupid to realize that they are wasting their lives and don't need to be there... and i hate the kids in my anthropology class because they all think they are so earthy cool when they are just fucking dirty. ysterday one of the girls in the class actually turned to the girl next to her and said "help yourself to some trailmix". oh my god. trail mix? fuck you. that really pissed me off,a nd if you don't understand why, i'm not going to explain it too you.

this weekend was fun, mike and i went to the sorority formal on friday night at the foxwods (formerly boulder hills) country club on 138. good food, nice room, bad dj. and it's always nice to see mike in his suit...it's grey with instripes and he wears a grey shirt and a black tie. my dress was a wine color, strapless with clear beads that looked silver, so i wore a silvr wrap and silver shoes. i had my hair done and everything. so then on saturday morning after the formal we went to mke's parents house and their water pump had quit, so mike and his dad spent all day replacing it, and we ran errands n the mddle of the afternoon, which was fun (i am a dork). when they were done replacing the pipe we ordered dominoes pizza and watched open range with kevin costner, which was good. last nightwas dinner at my parents house with the whole fam, including the four grandkids... it can get kind of hectic. so i am supposed to be in dr. loy's class at 9am, but my compuer woldn't print out the article we were suposed to read, and i really don't feel like handing in another blank quiz...so i am going to finish reading yesterday's paper, call about some apartments, read more of the davinci code, and iron my clothes for work...

i have been so busy lately and there doesn't seem to be any chance of things slowing down...last week i worked 30 hours and had a ten page paper due, and then i had to plan three rituals for the sorority and go to the social on saturday night, and i had to go shopping because my formal is next friday night. and then this week i have a test on wednesday, i'm working all week, i need to clean my room and make appointments with renters, and my car is getting the exhaust system fixed...

this week was fun...kat was here and we looked at houses (fund one, we think!) and stayed up until at least 2:30 am every night. so i had a really weird esp thing happen tonight...mike has been away on a fishing boat since saturday, and i thoughgt he was supposed to be home today, like this afternoon, but he said before he left that he wouldn't be back until friday or saturday. so after watching tv until 11, i was tired and thinking baout going to bed. then i thought about mike calling tonight, and i wondered if i was actually whipped enough to drive to gallilee to meet him. so i pushed it out of my mind, thought about seeing him tomorrow when the boat came in, and then went to my room to go to bed. i checked my cell phone for messages (the ringer was off and i had forgotten to turn it back on)and mike had called! weird! so they are docking at aboout 1:08 am, and the answer is yes, i am whipped enough to meet him...i'm just killing time now before i have to leave...

i desperately need to have some fun...like a party...i desperately want to get trashed...

my week just. keeps. getting. shittier. so tomorrow i am supposed to have a staff meeting for the dorm at 5:30, and then sorority stuff at 6:30. however, i have to meet with my bosses tomorrow after the meeting to talk about docking some of my pay because apparently i was supposed to read and rank the applications of the ra's applying for our open positions, and i had no idea because i am not participating in interviews BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO BE AN RA NEXT YEAR. i don't remember this being mentioned in a meeting, but i may have just tuned it out...i think i'm losing my mind.

so i lost the election for zeta president last night, which made for a pretty shitty evening. i drove to mike's and slept there, which means that i didn't write the russian history paper that was due at 10am this morning. i didn't go to my 9am, or my 10am (russian) and i ended up dropping it, which means that i now only have 9 credits (and suggestions about this?) further, i didn't go to my 1 o'clock class either...and now i'm sitting at my desk, in my strawberry shortcake pajama pants and a sweatshirt with my greasy hair in a ponytail (i haven't showered in three days. maybe, i can't really remember) i have eaten shaws brand mini beef raviolis with two pieces of shaws white bread and a shaws brand diet cola. and last night on my way to mike's i had to stop twice because my car was hating over, and my cell phone has been acting up. on a good note, i did make reservations for saturday at le bistro newport. they happened to have a 7pm reservation open from a cancellation. yay.

i just ate hope in my room, and now i have to write my russian history paper. and tonight we have elections for zeta and i'm running for president, so i need to get my speech together, and all i really want to do is go back to sleep...yesterday mike was here and i left him in my bed at 8am when my suite mate and i went to breakfast. i had a 9am class, but i brought him back a bagel, with full intentions of actually attending my morning class, but when i got back mike was al cuddled up in my bed and it was warm...and i succumbed. but it was worth it...i tried to make reservations last night for valentine's day, but i had to leave a message, and have not heard back yet, so i am a little worried. now i need to write...

why did i wait until the last minute to make valentine's plans...i'm looking for a room basically anywhere that's a 2-3 hour drive that has a bathtub for two...and so far i have probably spent about ten hours online looking... i'm starting to hate valentine's day too...

i have so much shit to do this week...i am so behind on my reading for class, and my to do list is huge, elections for the sorority are this week and next week, and rush starts for us on thursday...oh god. but on the good notes, i have stopped biting my nails again... we'll see how long this lasts...
